I write this mainly because of the Homeless Awareness Worship Service that is happening tomorrow night at Confluence on Hwy150 at 6:30pm. You should definately come if you are in the area!
Secondy I write this because I feel as Christians we are all self centered to a point, and yes I am talking to myself also, but we get stuck in our “church family” and friends and family mode that we forget to look around at the people hurting all around us! The homeless…that widow…that child that is living at the children’s home…that elderly couple…that young pregnant girl…that crack head that needs to hear of Jesus. Where ARE our priorities??? It is time as we as The Body of Christ STEP UP and do OUR part to help those in need of love, Jesus and hope or all of the above! God calls US to love the LEAST! Those who you think are beyond anyones reach is who WE should be REACHING out to! It’s time Christians to stop living in your churchy style life style and step up and reach out!
WHEN are you going to be ready? The time is NOW.
